Christina! Thank you so much. You have helped me a lot throughout this second part of the semester. I really enjoyed being in your class and even though sometimes I was kind of rude (talking in spanish) etc. SORRY! I couldn't help it sometimes lol I will miss you and the class a lot. I had a lot of fun with you and all the discusions that we spend like a lot of times in it, but it was really cool. You are an amazing professor and I know that the students that you get will be lucky to have you also as me and my classmates were. Don't lose your sense of humor that makes you special and unique. My little sister to be : )

Oh man I'm like so excited for my baby sister to be born. I can't wait for my baby girl to be born. I bought her more clothes, my god I'm going crazy with this little girl LOL me and my brother are so happy with our moms pregnancy and are looking forward to meet our new baby sister. I am going to feel like I'm the mother because I am going to be with her everyday and I'm going to feed her. Although I am really happy with this and everything I told my mom I am not so sure about changing her diapers LOL!

Terrible Day

Oh my god, today was not my day at all. I felt so bad. The worse headache of my life and plus I have a sorethroat. I hate this feeling, I'm still sick and I am in such a bad mood. I love to laugh and always have fun but today it's just not the day. My cousins came from Virginia and I didn't even spend time with them because all I wanted to do was to sleep for the whole day. I don't know how I made it in school because I was about to give up. Although I felt horrible and I still feel that way I know the big test is almost here and I have to keep strong : )

Missing my daddy!

Today is one of those days when I just want to see my dad so bad. He is one of the most important people in my entire life. He is a great father. I just wish he can be here with me, mommy, brother, and the sister to be born. Hopefully he will be here with us this year. I look forward to see him here with us and enjoying our times together. He is the only one that is missing for me to feel complete. I love and miss my dad and I will always love him with all my heart. I wish he was here right now so I could hug him and tell him how much he means to me. Although he is far away he is always in my heart and I speak to him on the phone and always remind him he is my love, my hero, and the greatest dad god could of given to me. Love You Pa!

Sickness

I feel sick :( I hate this feeling. It is the worst feeling, I love it when I'm all happy and smiling but today is just not my day I guess. Well it was earlier but I don't know what happened :( I was outside with everyone just talking and enjoying the beautiful weather however now I have the biggest headache of my life and I feel dizzy (urrr I hate it). I am going to sleep and hopefully I'll feel better. Night Night.

My Best Friends.

Luckily, In life we have the opportunity to meet some really amazing people. These people are four of them. Funny, Smart, Amazing, great heart…but most of all, they are my Best Friends. I thank god for this four main people in my life. I have many friends however they are the ones that are always there for me and are always by my side. I love all of them with all my heart. They have a very important place in my heart, especially Charina as you guys already know she is like my sister. We have done many things together including silly things which are the best ones LOL. Also with my other two girls Ambar and Florindy I've known them for a long time too and Ambar is also from my hometown in the Dominican Republic:) Florindy is also Dominican but she used to live like two hours away from my hometown, I met her when I first came to this country. She was the one who was always next to me and tough me some English. We were always together in High School, every time they saw us was always together. Michael is my only male best friend as you already know because I did a blog just about him. He is very unique and he gives me some good advices, that is the good thing about having a male best friend LOL since he is straight up and always tells me things the way they are. He is a very nice guy and he is also from my hometown (Oh my god I know is crazy ha-ha) Although he was born in my hometown, he came when he was very little, so we reunited when I came here, a couple of months after. Anyways I Love them a lot and I will always love them with all my heart.

Weekend

Oh my god, this weekend has been very fun. I can't complaint I had so much fun and I am still having fun :). Im still in the city and I am almost going to my boring island (Long Island) LOL I love the city so much, I wish I could live here but I hope I can come soon. Hope you guys are having a great weekend also.

My male bestie

I'm with my male bestie:) We are having lots of fun and we are together for the rest of the day. We saw the boxing fight together and we are going to chill together today, and I am having a lot of fun. It's been an amazing weekend.

My Birthday : )

I had so much fun. It was a very special day with people that I love. Im finally 18!!! WOOP WOOP LOL I waited so much however I want to be 21 already LOL. My mom made me a lasagna which I love. I think she is the most great lasagna maker ever LOL I just love how she makes it. My aunt bought me a cake and my friends and family brought me many gifts:)It was a unforgettable birthday. I Loved it. Now that I'm eighteen I am going to go clubbing a lot, even though I am not allowed to drink:(

Drinking

Who Ho! Tonight I am going to drink a lot and I'm going to have a blast, I feel it ha-ha anyways I want to forget about the problems. Although I want to drink a lot I don't want to get drunk. I want to get happy but not drunk ;) I see that many of us enjoy drinking LOL specially Jhely and Tal AJA! Hope we all have a nice weekend party, drink and have fun.

Essays....

Oh my god I really hate essays like a lot. Essays are just too much for me but that's life and you have to do what you have to do in order to be successful and have a good future. Although I hate essays, I know I have to do my best at them and forget about how much I hate them LOL Life would be much easier without essays. That's what I think.

Family Party

Last night I had so much fun with my family, we made a party to my cousin because he is leaving to Chicago since he had a great job opportunity over there. He is so nice I love him with all my heart and we will miss him a lot. He is the one who always tells me to study and is always giving me advices. I didn't want him to leave but I know it's for a better opportunity and that he would be able to come over here sometimes and we would go over there as well (:

Shopping (:

I'm about to go shopping for my baby sister to be and myself. I love shopping I believe I am a shopaholic LOL I love clothes and shoes. Im planning to buy my baby sister so many clothes, cute ones and sexy haha. However hope all of you guys are enjoying the weekend because I'm sure I am and it's going to get better tonight. Tonight is going to be a GOOD night (:

Hey.. I'm pretty sure most of you guys know the cartoon named Tweety. Tweety is my favorite cartoon because it is so adorable and cute. Many people such as friends, and families say I am obsessed with tweety LOL but it is nothing about obsession is just he is so cute. My room is all about tweety:) and I have many bears of tweety, also shirts and earrings. Tweety will always be my baby LOL ! :D

Music is everything for me, I identify myself with many songs specially Aventura of course LOL. Music just gets me through life, whenever I'm sad I listen to music and it makes me happier. It helps me a lot when ever I feel down. It's my medicine (:

Food!

I love to eat and I love tasty food. It is sad that most of the good things make you fat :( I wish I could just eat and not get fat LOL however I know that is not possible. I love dominican food, it is really good and tasty. I wish I could eat everything I desire to eat it will be the best thing in my life.

The doggies

Penni and Coach are so cute. I really enjoyed everything Florence told us. I want a dog now but my mom hates them so I cant do nothing about it :(. I wish I can have a little one with me because they are so cute and adorable and plus they help people.

Beautiful Weekend :D

I love the weather, It's beautiful outside and I'm enjoying it so much. Today I went to the beach even though the water is really cold we were just taking some sun and playing volleyball in the sand. I cant wait till the summer its finally here so we would be able to do so much fun stuffs (: . I love the vacations, sad that we have to go back to class again :( LOL but it happens. I hope all of you guys enjoyed your vacations as well. See you guys tomorrow !

It's A Girl (:

Hey everyone well as you guys already know, my mother is pregnant and yesterday we went to the doctor and we found out what it was. Finally! Its going to be a baby girl and I am so excited. I'm the happiest girl alive, I wanted a baby sister so bad and finally my mother became pregnant after 17 years without giving birth LOL so now I just hope my baby girl born healthy. I can't wait to have it in my hands, I love babies. Therefore now we are just waiting for the baby to come, she will be here with us hopefully by August (:.

Rain Rain Go Away!!

Oh my god I can't believe is still raining, we're on vacation I though it was going to be sunny outside and we were going to be able to enjoy it. Im enjoying my vacations but it would be so much better if it was at least sunny out. The weather people said this weekend is going to be beautiful outside like if it was summer already (: I can't wait. Friends!!

I love my friends with all my heart and I believe you need friends in your life. They are always there for you when you need them well, the real ones. My life would be so hard without them because they just make everything easier. ILOVE THEM SO MUCH.

Spring Brake

Finally.. vacations I hope all of you guys are enjoying your vacation and are having fun. It feels so good to be relax for couple of days and not worrying about anything. I am planning to go to the city for couple of days to one of my close friends house to party and have a great time.

Hey everyone. I'm going to talk about my lil brother or sister (We still don't know what is going to be). My mom is 17 weeks now and I am dying to see my baby already (:, I can't wait till the baby born. Last week we went to the doctor to find out the sex of the baby, however, the baby did not let us see what it was. I was so upset because I wanted to find out so I could start buying the clothes and everything :D. My mother has another appointment on April 1st, I hope we can see the sex of the baby this time. (:

Relaxing

This weekend has been raining so much. I really don't like it but in some point it's good because I was relaxed in my house with my family, listening to music and just enjoying our time together. I hope all of you had a great weekend and see you guys tomorrow in school. Barby hope your daughter is well.

Being Independent!

I can't wait to pass the placement test, go to Nassau Community College and then get transfer to the city. My friends and my cousins always tell me it is a great experience to go away for school because you become a very independent person and it is really fun as well. I would love to study in Fordham University and get my barchelor's degree so I can become someone successful. It is good being with your parents and letting them spoiled you. However, getting independence helps you a lot because you can depend on your own and get ready for your future. I hope I can accomplish all my goals and my dreams come true. =D I know I can do it with hard work and dedication.

February 27 Independece day

Hey guys I want to share with all of you my culture. As you already know I am from the Dominican Republic and I love my country very much. February is the month we celebrate our independece day. February 27th is the official Independece day for the Dominican Republic but we celebrated the entire month of February filling each weekend with parades, events, and competitions. It is a wonderful experience the carnival because everyone has so much fun. The celebration brings with it so much color and tradiction from the vivid color of the costumes, the great music, and lively dancing. February is the Dominican Republic month. :)

Junk Foods

Hey guys, hope all of you are enjoining your vacations even though it is almost over :( unfortunately, but thats life. Anyways today I want to talk about the current event I was supposed to present on Wednesday but because of the two snow days we had I couldn't present it for that reason. The current event I was going to present was about junk foods, and in almost every school there is machines and any way to get junk foods. Obama wants to decrease the eating of junk food in all the schools because thats one of the main reasons that is leading many of young people to obesity and many others problems. Junk foods need to be out of the school districts because it is affecting many students and there is a machine of junk food all around schools and it is not healthy at all. Aventura =]

Today I am going to talk about "Aventura", they are a group of bachata which is a kind of music from my country the Dominican Republic. They are also my favorite group. I love them so much and I love their music. Last month I went to a concert in Madison Square Garden of them, it was nice and I had a lot of fun. I loved it. I Love how they sing, how they are and everything about them. They are the first bachata boy band, they been so good and their music is so nice and beautiful that even some Americans know them and also from all around the world. They have also win a lot of grammys. Therefore Aventura has appeared on the top of the European pop MTV and their equivalents in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and others. Aventura has been and will always be my favorite group. I love them to death.

My Parents !!

Well today I am going to talk about my parents Claribel and Nilson. I love them with all my heart, they mean the world to me. I know I would not live without them, they are my everything. I thanks god every day and night for giving me such good parents. Many times most of the teenagers don't get alone with their parents because they don't understand each other or maybe just because they are always working, never spending time together, and problably don't have that much trust in them to talk about their problems but that is not the case with me. My parents and I get alone very well because they are two wonderful persons, they love me so much like I love them. They always care about me and always give me strong advices that I always keep on my mind and have help me so much through my short life. My parents understand me and always tell me that they were young so they know all the little pranks we do when we are young so they always want to help me to make the right decisions but they also say they want me to go through things so I can learn from them, because you only learn from your mistakes. I know that they only want the best for me and everyday I try to do my best so that they feel proud of me. I love them more than anything.

My dad is still in the Dominican Republic :( and I miss him so much that I can't explain how much I would love for him to be here with me, my mother, and my brother. However all the paper work are going great for him to come so they told my mother that problably this year he will be with us and I am so happy and excited about it, I can't wait for him to be with us. Daddy and mommy you guys are the best thing about my life I just wouldn't change you guys for anything. I love you :)

Done with the first week !

The first week was very nice. I loved it, I really like the proffesor Barby, because she is really a good proffesor. She teaches us good but she is also fun so that really makes the class interesting, it doesnt bored me at all and I dont want to miss any class day because I like it so much. Also my classmates they are really nice people and I feel comfortable with all of them which is great because I feel like Ive known them for a long time and it helps me with presentations, for example yesterday that I did my three items presentation I was not nervous at all because I feel that way with them and Barby. I also want to let you know that I joined the Latino's club at NCC and I kno it would be very helpful because I am going to meet other students in the campus and it will help me with my speaking also. I hope all of you guys would do the same thing because it is a great experience and also helps out a lot. It does not have to be a Latino's club, there are many clubs for you to choose so think about it and trust me you will like it ;) !

Introducing myself.

Hey everyone, my name is Claridania Rodriguez but most of my friends call me Clari, for shorter since Claridania is too long. Anyways Im from the Dominican Republic and I,am 17 years old. I live wit my mother, brother, cousins, and my aunts. I miss my country so much since everything is different here in the U.S. For example in my country the weather is always hot and here is not the same because we have the 4 seasons but it is not as bad as some people say. My hobbie is to listen to music, be on the computer but what I really love to do is to dance, I feel free when I dance I feel very relaxed. To me dancing is what I can do when I,m stress out or I have problems, when I dance it helps me forget about problems and all the bad stuffs going around the world.
